Attorney Mike Robinson has lived in Douglas County, Colorado for over 20 years. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce and Cantril House Assisted Living Center, as Post Commander of the Castle Rock Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #10578, President of the Douglas-Elbert Bar Association, Board of Governors - Colorado Bar Association, the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, and Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity, Who's Who in American Law.
Mike grew up as the son of a career combat U.S. Army soldier. He served as a Photographic Intelligenceman in Vietnam during his four years in the U.S. Navy, including surviving the 1967 U.S.S. Forrestal fire. While serving in Vietnam, Mike was awarded the Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross Unit Citation and the Presidential Unit Citation, the unit equivalent of the Navy Cross. Mike was honorably discharged from the military and attended college on the G.I. Bill graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree Cum Laude from Albany State College and later a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Denver College of Law. He is licensed to practice law before the Colorado Supreme Court, Federal District and Bankruptcy Courts for Colorado, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the U nited States.
